Jack McCloskey, MS, CFP®

Chief Operating Officer

Jack joined Vintage in 2011 as a financial planner and became a senior financial planner after a couple of years. He earned the title of Chief Operating Officer in 2015 and became a partner in the firm in 2021. As Chief Operating Officer, Jack manages the financial advisors and oversees the operations and planning strategies for the firm. He is a member of the investment committee, financial planning committee, compliance committee and the go-to advisor for help on estate planning. Jack’s passion is helping our clients achieve their goals in retirement.

In 2022, Jack was named by Investment News to their prestigious 40 Under 40 list which recognized forty individuals from all over the country that are the “rising stars” in the investment industry.  See disclosures or the full article at the Investment News site.

Prior to joining Vintage, Jack graduated magna cum laude from Western Michigan University. During his time at Western, Jack was a member of the Lee Honors College, where he researched monetary unions in developing countries. He also gained experience with another fee-only wealth management firm in the Kalamazoo area.

Jack is a member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council.

Jack and his wife, Ashley, live in Ann Arbor with their daughter, Hazel, and goldendoodle, Clark.  He and Ashley are big fans of Michigan’s great craft beer industry and they have regularly volunteered with the Michigan Brewers Guild at their beer festivals throughout the state.
