    Meet Frank

    Frank Moore founded Vintage Financial Services in 1985 in order to better serve his clients.  Previously, he’d worked in the banking industry and with an investment firm.

    Frank continues to lead the Vintage Financial team as Chief Investment Officer, using the investment strategies he developed three decades ago.

    He is well known nationally in the financial planning community, having recently served as Chairman of the Board of NAPFA, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.  In his role, he worked with the leadership of the Financial Planning Association and the Certified Financial Planner Board to help promote and shape the Department of Labor’s new rule that will require all financial advisors to put their client’s interests first when advising on IRA assets.

    Frank continues to serve on NAPFA’s National Board and he currently heads the Finance Committee.  He has also served as Chairman of NAPFA’s Midwest Region Board and was a founder and current leader of the Soar Wealth Manager Alliance, a national network of independent firms that share best practices to better help their clients.

    Frank was named by Barron’s magazine as one of America’s Top 1,200 Financial Advisors in March, 2017.  He was the only advisor recognized in Washtenaw County and one of just 30 in the state of Michigan.  Frank was also one of 100 advisors featured in the 2012 book, America’s Top Financial Advisors: Financial Strategies from the Titans of Wealth Management.

    Numerous national publications have quoted Frank and featured his market insights. Those have included the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Business Week, Financial Planning, the Journal of Financial Planning, Medical Economics, Investment News, Wealth Manager and others. Frank has also spoken at national investment conferences on topics ranging from the investment management process to applying technology in a wealth management practice.

    He is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he earned a B.A. in economics. After his undergraduate studies, Frank became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional™ and has earned a Master of Science in financial services with a specialization in wealth management.

    Frank and his wife, Jennifer, love Ann Arbor and support the local quality of life with the Frank and Jennifer Moore Family Foundation.

    Meet Todd

    Todd Perry is a Senior Financial Planner at Vintage and heads the tax planning and preparation team.  He joined Vintage in 2005 and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional™ and a Certified Investment Management Analyst.  
    He is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in business and supply-chain management. While attending Central Michigan, he was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business fraternity as well as the CMU club hockey team. 
    Todd is a graduate of the Leadership Ann Arbor program and has also been quoted in theWall Street Journal. 
    He and his wife, Kristen, live in Brighton and have two children.

    Meet Joe

    Joe Henderson is a Senior Financial Planner at Vintage and is the team’s go-to guy for insurance advice.  Joe started his career in financial services in the insurance industry in 1993 where he rose to a management role training new agents.  He’s also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional™ and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation. 
    Joe is a graduate of Wayne State University where he earned a B.A. in economics.  He lives in Northville with his wife, Andrea, and their three children.  He enjoys gardening and spending time with his English Bulldog, Ozzie.

    Jack McCloskey, MS, CFP®, RTRP

    Meet Jack

    Jack McCloskey is a Senior Financial Planner at Vintage and serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional™ and a Registered Tax Return Preparer.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Michigan University where he earned a degree in Personal Financial Planning with a minor in Economics.  Jack has also achieved a Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning.

    As a Senior Financial Planner at Vintage, Jack is a member of the tax team, serves on our investment committee and is our go-to advisor for help on estate planning.

    During his time at Western, Jack was a member of the Lee Honors College where he researched monetary unions in developing countries.  He also gained experience with another fee only wealth management firm in the Kalamazoo area.

    Jack is a member of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA).

    He lives in Ypsilanti with his wife, Ashley.

    Meet Jim

    Jim Burns is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Professional™ and a Senior Financial Planner at Vintage.  Prior to joining Vintage in 2013, he worked as a financial advisor at Plante Moran Financial Advisors.  He has extensive experience with accounting, tax preparation and wealth management and is a member of the Vintage tax team.

    Jim is a 2008 graduate of Hillsdale College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting when he wasn’t busy with the school’s golf team. Jim currently serves as Treasurer of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council and helped establish their membership in the National Association of Estate Planning Councils. He also serves on the Detroit Catholic Central Alumni Board.

    Jim lives in Plymouth with his wife, Angela.


  • Josh Harper

    Josh Harper

    Josh Harper joined Vintage in 2017 as a financial planner.  He is a graduate of Kansas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from one of the most highly regarded programs in the country.

    Josh previously worked as an intern at a Cleveland area financial planning firm.  At Kansas State, he worked as a peer financial counselor helping fellow students with budgeting, student loans, employee benefits and more.  In his last semester, he was on two winning teams in Portfolio Challenge competitions, one of which resulted in how the school’s department funds will be invested.

    Josh is excited about living in Ann Arbor and his first home is near the football stadium where he can enjoy  football Saturdays.  He plays Ultimate Frisbee, watches sports, and plays guitar in his free time.

    Pam Tassinari

    Pam Tassinari joined Vintage in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant.  Previously she managed another downtown Ann Arbor service business and has experience in human resources and sales.  She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in communications.

    Pam lives in Plymouth and has four children with three currently in college.

    Jennifer Moore

    Jennifer Moore co-founded Vintage in 1985 with her future husband, Frank. Jennifer prepared income taxes for many of our clients and was executive director of Ann Arbor Area 2000 before taking some time off to raise their three children.

    Jennifer returned to Vintage and is now controller and human resources director.  She also arranges fun client events like our annual Top of the Fair party.

    John Owens

    John Owens is a Financial Planner at Vintage. Prior to joining Vintage in 2016 he worked as a financial analyst at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarion University in 2015 with a degree in Corporate and Personal Finance, and Monetary Economics.

    During his time at Clarion, John competed on a financial planning case study team that won First Place in the 2015 FAStech Cup, a national financial planning competition. He also chaired the Clarion Students’ Association where he oversaw the funding of student organizations.

    John lives in Ann Arbor and enjoys walking, swimming, and kayaking in his free time.

    Candace Kinsler

    Candace Kinsler has been our office manager since 1996.  She makes it easy for our clients to get paperwork completed accurately and she’s happy to send along funds for retirement income or other portfolio withdrawals. She joined Vintage with ten years of experience in the investment management business and four years as a paralegal. 
    Candace lives in Ann Arbor and has two sons.

    Administrative Assistant

    Niki Barnes, RP®

    Niki Barnes, RP® is an Administrative Assistant at Vintage.  She joined Vintage in 2013 after managing a small service business in downtown Ann Arbor.  She also helps make client’s lives easy by handling paperwork and administrative issues.

    In 2017, Niki earned the Registered Paraplanner designation after completing a course of study encompassing the financial planning process, the five disciplines of financial planning and general financial planning concepts, terminology and product categories

    Niki attended Eastern Michigan University where she majored in Math and Physics.  She lives in Ann Arbor with her three children.
